Introduction

Paris Collection was launched in 2008 working predominately with architects and designers to supply unique pieces, sourcing many pieces directly from artists and their studios.

In the past, the company & its former associates have supplied directly & indirectly such notables as Tony Chi (NY), Jacques Garcia (Paris), Thomas Jayne (NY), Brian McCarthy (NY), Joseph Fung (SPII, HK), Robert Stern (NY), Angus Addison (HK & London), Kim Wang (KWA & Associates, HK) Joanlin Au (JADL, HK), Hutton Wilkinson (Tony Duquette Studios, LA & Palm Beach)), Lorraine Reimann (LRI, HK for Galaxy, Macau), Alec Stuart (HK), Carolyne Roehm (USA), Grover Dear (formerly of ArchAsia, HK), the late Ed Tuttle (of Design Realisation, France), the late Charles Gwathemy (NY), the late Sir David Tang (HK), the late Frank Grill (Sydney).

In addition, the company has assisted in many projects, sadly there are a number that never came to fruition but the designs & time that went into them were formidable and some of these has been mentioned under “Projects”.

Amongst the pieces shown, there are items from various artists & designers that have been proposed to clients and are great examples of the diversity of their work but again, may not have finally been used in a project & others were unique pieces made specially for individual projects – as an example is included the extraordinary commission of Chahan (Paris) for the Crillon swimming pool – currently Paris Collection is working with an architect in HK to create an “corner” of a garden using the same supplier & this was influenced by the work of Chahan.

While much of the work appears to have been in Hong Kong, in fact the Paris Collection has been sold internationally from Europe to Asia, the United States of America to the Middle East.
